2003 Ag-Chem Container Information

As of March 28, 2003  there are no current dates set for the free drop off days.  Information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.

However, Ag-chem containers are accepted daily at each landfill, Highway 59 Landfill located at 6040 North Highway 59 in Merced, and in Los Banos at the Billy Wright Landfill 17173 South Billy Wright Road, for the current disposal rate.  It is illegal to landfill Ag-chem containers.    

Both metal and plastic containers are accepted.  The containers must be triple rinsed (certification required) and transported to the Landfill.  Certification of triple rinsing may be done in advance by calling the Department of Agriculture at (209) 385-7431 or in Los Banos at (209) 827-2030.  The Department of Agriculture will be present at each event for on-site certification.
